The scientific activity of the team can be divided into the following research areas:
- solid state chemistry (electrochemical and high-temperature corrosion of metallic and ceramic materials),
- energy conversion and storage (electrolytes, interconnects for SOFC solid oxide fuel cells and SOEC electrolysers, high-entropic ceramics).
- optoelectronics (transparent ceramics),
- ferroelectric electroceramics (solid and composite ceramics),
- cryogenics (ceramic superconductors).
